I’ve been searching for a reasonable furnace and A/C replacement for the better part of six months for my aging systems. Swift Pro was one of my original estimates along with six other companies. I had small companies and large companies quote me for similar systems with a range of cost from $9,000 to $30,000. My preference is always to support local businesses over large corporate run companies. Swift Pro wasn’t the cheapest and far from the most expensive. Swift Pro has excellent customer service, an exceptional warranty and the install team was amazing. Hopefully I don’t have to do this project again anytime soon. But if I do, I would use Swift Pro again! As a bonus, the turn around time was very fast.
We found SwiftPro by googling and learned that their service district includes Fauquier County. Elvis Diaz, their service tech, was amazing. He diagnosed the multi-year problem we had with our HVAC quickly, which the HVAC installer repeatedly missed! The issue was a communication problem that knocked out the HVAC during a thunder storm. The installer kept replacing circuit boards and other parts, some at our expense I think, others under warranty. The installer completely overlooked the wiring and it was a mess, Elvis found. …

A/c went out during heat wave. Got an estimate and installation done quickly. Estimate was 35% lower than the next lowest estimate with the same equipment.
Moises came out to assess our furnace. Despite it being over 18 years old, he gave us a fair price on a fix and attempted to do a free adjustment to the fan so we could use the heat for another day or two. A second opinion is for the moment you're holding a big quote: a new AC or furnace, a new water heater, a sewer line dug up. A SwiftPro tech from our HVAC team or our plumbing team comes out and looks at the exact system you were quoted on. If they said the compressor is gone, we check the compressor. Then you get a straight answer and, if you want it, our price to hold next to theirs. It's free, and you don't owe us anything for looking.
A lot of replace-it-all quotes turn out to be a part. AC blowing warm air is often a capacitor, a dirty coil or low refrigerant. An outdoor unit buzzing is often a worn capacitor or fan motor. A leaking water heater might be a valve or a fitting. Slow drains call for a camera before anyone digs. And sometimes replacing really is right: a cracked heat exchanger, a dead compressor on an old R-22 system, a coil that keeps leaking, a tank leaking from the bottom. If the first quote was fair, we'll say so.

Yes. We come out, look at the system you were quoted on and tell you what we find, at no charge. If you want us to do the work, you get our price first and you decide. You don't owe us anything for looking.
It helps, because we can check their diagnosis line by line, but you don't need it. A photo of the quote is enough, or just have it handy when the tech arrives.
Only if that's what your system actually needs. Plenty of second opinions end with a repair, and some end with us telling you the first quote was fair. Then you've heard it from two companies and can sign without wondering.
Whatever the quote says failed. A system that turns on and off all day is often a capacitor, a clogged filter or the thermostat. An iced-up coil with a high power bill is usually airflow or a low charge. We test the equipment you were quoted on, not a generic checklist.
Tech was friendly, fine. Service was just ok but they way overcharge. 2200 for generic new toilets when I think parts replacement would’ve sufficed. And I always felt like they were upselling every step. I’ll find another plumber that’s more reasonable and doesn’t give run around.

He showed us exactly what the issue was (which was not what the first plumber told us it was) and how a much simpler and cheaper solution resolved the issue. We had him look at something other plumbing things while he was here and he explained how certain things worked and why. He was also open to answering a lot of questions in a nice and helpful manner. I would highly recommend him and SwiftPro plumbing. We went through 3 plumbing companies before finding SwiftPro.
Eddy Hernandez did a great job when our AC unit stopped cooling the house. He also educated us on some basic HVAC and humidifier things that we can do ourselves to make things run smoother) and in one case with less effort on our part. They also replaced our air scrubber and helpful information related to that as well.
Everyone we dealt with on the phone or in person was very pleasant. Both the plumbing and HVAC had the parts on their trucks needed to address the issues we called them about.

Another company had been contracted to deal with the mold in the bathroom ceiling and walls as well as that which was beginning to cover the surface of everything in the area. That company did not handle the air ducts, leaving us to research and find SwiftPro and Aaron.
Under such circumstances, it is not often you begin to quickly feel trust in what someone is telling you what is needed to fix the issue. It did not take long at all to experience that rarity with Aaron of SwiftPro. It was Aaron who noted the continued high humidity in our furnace room, leading eventually to the discovery of a gap in the pipe that was pumping humidity gathered by the furnace right back into the room.
This is a company whose expertise and knowledge is evident in the entire crew who came to address the issues with our air ducts. Already trusting Aaron, we found Luke and Jamie showed the same friendliness and skill already entrusted in Aaron.
They were thorough and unintrusive in their work. They cleaned and fogged our ducts, both metal and fiberglass, on all three levels of our house, using air scrubbers to filter out airborne particulates during the cleaning. They thoroughly cleaned the furnace (coils, blower, housing) and installed a permanent air scrubber in the furnace plenum to filter out any remaining and future mold spores. Their service includes coming back in a month to evaluate any bacterial growth in the ductwork and address any other concerns we may have.
