Excellent experience from beginning to end. Prompt response (our AC went out on a 93 degree day), good communication and ease of scheduling an appointment. Technician was great - explained issues and recommended fixes - did not try to upsell me to anything I didn’t really need. Made a few suggestions to maintain the unit. Highly recommend.

In the middle of one of the coldest weeks this winter, a small gas leak one evening resulted in immediate shut off - and a loss of any hot water and heating along with it. After a great experience with SwiftPro last summer to fix our HVAC (shout out to Elvis, who was an incredibly responsive and thorough technician!) we gave them a call and were responded to immediately.

I was relied to have a service contract with Swift Pro. I discovered that the air conditioning condensate line was backing up and leaking water on the floor on one of the hottest day of the year. Efrain
was dispatched to our condo and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged discharge pipe. The clogged pipe was cleared and the apparent solution to this problem was offered which will be scheduled in the near future. The calls that can't wait look like this: no heat on a cold night, no AC in a heat wave, water running that you can't stop, sewage coming up at the lowest drain in the house, a water heater leaking from the tank. SwiftPro has 24/7 emergency service, and a person answers the phone at any hour, holidays included. We'll tell you honestly when we can get there.
While you dial, do the things that keep it small. Water where it shouldn't be: close the main shutoff where the water enters the house, close the cold valve on top of the water heater, and if water is heading for a panel or a furnace and the breaker is dry and reachable, kill it. Sewage backing up: stop running water. Water around the indoor AC unit: shut the system off. A gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm: everyone out first. Tell us what you've already shut off, because it changes what goes on the truck. Nights and weekends cost more, here and everywhere, and if it can safely wait until morning, we'll say so.

Usually, yes. Nights and weekends cost more, here and everywhere. If the drain is slow rather than stopped, or the house is uncomfortable but safe, waiting saves you the difference, and we'll tell you so instead of selling an after-hours visit. If water is running or sewage is coming up, call.
Where the water comes into the basement or crawl space, near the meter, often beside the water heater. Turn it clockwise until it stops. Close the cold valve on top of the water heater too, so the tank doesn't empty itself after the first leak.
Not us. Get everyone out of the house without flipping a light switch or touching the thermostat, then call your gas company's emergency line or 911 from outside. Once they've made it safe, call us to find and fix the cause.

Outstanding and timely service. Our water heater failed at 8pm on a friday night, by 10am the next morning, Harold was at our house, removed the broken heater, and installed the new one. Clean and as efficient as can be expected given the weekend timing.

Xavi F. arrived quickly, after 8pm ( nothing breaks during business hours, lol). He fixed the plumbing problem at hand and identified the cause of a different issue. He was respectful, wore booties to keep my home clean, and worked quickly. Will call SwiftPro again….hopefully not too soon though! The after-hours service call fee is understandable.
SwiftPro truly went above and beyond. Our AC stopped working a couple of days before the heat wave and required parts being ordered. The company called around local stores across the DMV and located the part needed; ensuring we received the new part installed before the external temperatures skyrocketed. The technicians were very patient, knowledgeable, and really advocated on our behalf to our management company to expedite the repair process.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a freezing house and discovered our heat wasn't working. Called SwiftPro around 5 am and their electronic system scheduled an appointment for us same day. Our furnace fan died before a 3-day holiday weekend, in a period of high humidity. We were not too concerned that it took about a week to notice the failure, get a diagnosis, order the part, and replace it. But what that combination triggered – exacerbated by an undiscovered open gap in a pipe intended to exhaust humidity to the outside -- was an explosion of mold in our basement apartment bathroom and furnace room. …

Another company had been contracted to deal with the mold in the bathroom ceiling and walls as well as that which was beginning to cover the surface of everything in the area. That company did not handle the air ducts, leaving us to research and find SwiftPro and Aaron.
Under such circumstances, it is not often you begin to quickly feel trust in what someone is telling you what is needed to fix the issue. It did not take long at all to experience that rarity with Aaron of SwiftPro. It was Aaron who noted the continued high humidity in our furnace room, leading eventually to the discovery of a gap in the pipe that was pumping humidity gathered by the furnace right back into the room.
This is a company whose expertise and knowledge is evident in the entire crew who came to address the issues with our air ducts. Already trusting Aaron, we found Luke and Jamie showed the same friendliness and skill already entrusted in Aaron.
They were thorough and unintrusive in their work. They cleaned and fogged our ducts, both metal and fiberglass, on all three levels of our house, using air scrubbers to filter out airborne particulates during the cleaning. They thoroughly cleaned the furnace (coils, blower, housing) and installed a permanent air scrubber in the furnace plenum to filter out any remaining and future mold spores. Their service includes coming back in a month to evaluate any bacterial growth in the ductwork and address any other concerns we may have.

Then I called SwiftPro and it was different. They answered the call, and told me that they had a technician was on another job but he would come once he was done. Jamie arrived around 8pm, and he did a great job in carefully diagnosing the problem, and finding it to be to be a malfunctioning thermostat rather than an expensive AC repair. He replaced it, also gave advice on maintenance of the HVAC unit. He was very professional and knowledgable and the cost was very reasonable. My house is now back to normal temperatures and I am a very happy customer.

I had an HVAC emergency in the middle of the summer and Moises came out immediately to diagnose the problem, and fix it permanently!
