What this job usually involves
Most plumbing repair calls are one of a handful: a toilet that won't stop running, a faucet or supply line leaking, weak pressure at every fixture, a wet patch with no obvious source, a garbage disposal that quit, or old galvanized pipe giving out. A running toilet is usually a flapper or a fill valve. Weak pressure across the whole house is usually the pressure reducing valve at the main, not your pipes. A water meter that creeps with every tap shut means a leak between the street and you.
Our own plumbers handle toilet repair and replacement, faucets, garbage disposals, leak detection, pressure reducing valves, repiping, gas line repair and water service lines. Leak detection uses acoustic and pressure work to find the leak before anyone opens a wall, so it's one hole instead of four. You get the price in writing before anything comes apart, and if what's behind the wall isn't what you described, we stop and show you first. Water heaters, gas lines and sewer replacements get permits pulled. It's a dedicated plumbing team, separate from our heating and cooling team.

We recently hired SwiftPro for toilet repairs on two toilets. One toilet kept continuously filling after flushing, which required replacing the fill tube. The second toilet experienced phantom flushing, which required replacing the flapper.

* The office and technician did try to address any issues promptly and to our satisfaction.
Room for Improvement:
* Cost/pricing could have been clearer. The technician couldn’t provide a cost estimate directly on-site, and we had to call the office to confirm the cost. This could have been addressed in the initial appointment scheduling phone call.
* The office mentioned a warranty for the work, but this wasn’t written on the invoice or receipt. They did reach out afterwards to confirm the work was performed satisfactorily, but a written warranty is always best for clarity for all parties.
* The initial flapper replacement didn’t resolve the phantom flushing issues and made the toilet running worse, but the technician did return promptly the same day to fix it.
* The fill tube replacement could have been cleaner and we did have to mop up water off the bathroom floor after the technician left.
Excellent and honest service at a fair price. Very polite and very knowledgeable technician. My new go-to experts for AC, heating, and plumbing service. Much more affordable than FH Furr. Did not try to “up sale” unnecessary work or service. The HVAC tech and service manager, Moises Rojas, was great.
Alex arrived on time and after some time he explained the situation regarding the low flow faucet and fixed the problem. Very professional. I would call on him and the company again for my plumbing repairs.

Alex was here on time as posted. He took his time assessing the problem, explained the proposed fix and did it. Tested the final job over and over until we both were satisfied. Highly please with the job.
They managed to come the same day that I called about a leak which was helpful. They cut into my ceiling (where the leak was coming from), identified it, and was able to fix it there and then. Much appreciated and seemed a reasonable price.

Honest and trustworthy advice received on managing a leak upstream that exceeded the scope of this company. We were given recommendations for contacting Fairfax Water and suggestions for improving outdated plumbing valves in the future (after this expensive problem is solved). They also provided advice on items that should be included in our requests for estimates. Very helpful, highly recommended!
Called these guys for some plumbing work. A previous plumber had said that in order to reach the part of the pipe that was leaking, he would have to take apart some brick work & that I would need to call in a mason after to put it back together. Alex showed up on time and gave me a good explanation of the work that was needed and an estimate that seemed fair given how much plumbers get on an hourly basis. He also was careful to point out potential problems with old valves that had not been moved for 30 years and the fact they may need to be replaced if they failed.
