Highly recommend the pros at Swift Pro. Our technician, Elvis, was professional, thorough, and very courteous. Despite having to install a whole home humidifier on a Friday evening, he took his time and really did a fantastic job on the installation. Elvis left the building around 8PM and cleaned up the work area before departing.

Excellent HVAC service for a fair and reasonable price. Moises Rojas fixed my home’s whole house humidifier, which I had no idea wasn’t working for over two years since moving into this house, and now the air in my home is very comfortable.

Moisés’ HVAC work is exceptional. He installed a return that completely resolved a static build up problem we had. He also installed a whole house humidifier that we are very pleased with. I’d trust SwiftPro for any of my HVAC needs!

I got a few estimates to install a humidifier. Well moises was my technician that came out he was very knowledgeable explained everything to me in a way that I can understand. I hired him on the spot they came 2 days later to install my humidifier and a few other things at a very responsible price. Also during insulation they walk me through how the system runs and everything to look out for and what to do they even cleaned my utility room and for me that was impressive no one helps me clean so I was extremely happy the job they also installed was neat and clean very professional workmanship I will recommend to anyone and will use them again for sure

Contacted SwiftPro because our HVAC system was buzzing. Moises arrived promptly. He quickly discovered that it was not an HVAC problem; it was a problem with the humidifier. He eliminated the buzzing sound (by disconnecting the humidifier) and gave us estimates for going forward with a new humidifier. Very friendly.

This review did not post originally so I am going to do both today. I want to highly recommend SwiftPro from the job in Dec 2025. Moises and Ephram did such an amazing job diagnosing our need and then completing all the tasks. When you know the work being completed is by trustworthy, competent tradesmen it relives any concern of needing to manage the work. We added a humidifier to our HVAC as my wife is a pianist needing moisture controlled for her piano. …

We also got both HVAC systems their annual service which, like most people, was many years late. Something I hadn’t even considered were the batteries replaced in the controllers that Ephram replaced without being asked. Lastly, our fireplace gas logs haven’t worked in three years. I asked if Ephram had a place he recommended and instead he said he could take a quick look. In about three minutes he determined the problem to be the electric switch, showed me the part number, and suggested I buy a replacement for $5 from Amazon. Where do we find service like this.

Today, Mar 10, 2026, I had another catastrophic plumbing incident, this time it was our hot water heater. We somehow developed a crack internally and water flooded the basement. We called SwiftPro and Zabi Khatibi was dispatched within a few hours. Zabi was incredibly knowledgeable, as were our technicians last time, and Zabi was able to address some some leaks we were able to isolate as they seemed to small to get a service call. Ironically, our clothes washer sprang a leak while we were traveling requiring me to begin assessing today before the hot water heater so Zabi was able to knock it all out on this visit.

Also, thanks to the owners, Tyler and Lily, who both were in communication with us throughout the process from keeping us informed of when the materials were arriving, which date/time the workers would be starting, and then professionally documenting all work completed.

We’ve used SwiftPro for installing a humidifier at our home. They are pretty responsive and have been very fair and reasonable when it comes to their pricing .

Alex definitely was very patient in addressing all of our questions and walked us through the various humidifier options available and what’s the optimal option based on budget , size of home and type of use . This was followed by Efrain’s attention to detail and meticulousness during the installation process . …

What this job usually involves

Most indoor air calls here are about dry winter air. Cold outdoor air holds very little moisture, and heating it dries it further, so plenty of Northern Virginia houses read in the teens or low twenties in January. You notice it as static shocks off every doorknob, hardwood floors gapping, doors that stick and then don't, a piano that drifts out of tune, and a house that feels colder than the thermostat says. Measure with a hygrometer first. If you're reading 35 percent, you don't need a humidifier.

A whole-house humidifier mounts on the ductwork beside the furnace, with a water line, a drain and a humidistat wired to the furnace. We install bypass, fan-powered and steam units, and fix the ones that quietly stopped working, usually a water panel scaled over by our hard water. That pad wants changing every fall. We also fit the ActivePure Air Scrubber into the supply plenum, UV lights, and filtration that suits the system, and we'll tell you when the honest answer is a new filter.

Questions people ask

Do I need a whole-house humidifier?

Measure first. Put a hygrometer in a living area on a cold day with the heat running. The EPA's guidance for indoor humidity is 30 to 50 percent. If you're reading 35, save your money. If you're reading 18, that's why the static shocks and the gapping floors showed up.

What does a humidifier install involve?

A water line off a nearby cold supply with its own shutoff, a drain line, an opening cut into the ductwork with the unit mounted and sealed, and a humidistat wired to the furnace so it only runs when warm air is moving. It's about a half day when the water and the drain are close to the furnace.

My humidifier stopped working. Can you fix it?

Usually. The common failure is a water panel nobody has changed in years, scaled over until it stops humidifying and starts dribbling water where it shouldn't. We've replaced furnace control boards killed by a humidifier nobody had touched in six years. Change the pad every fall.

Can a humidifier go on a heat pump?

Yes, though a bypass unit depends on warm supply air, and heat pump air runs cooler than a furnace's. On a heat pump, a fan-powered or steam unit is usually the better match.

What is an air scrubber?

A unit we fit into the supply plenum, the big duct on top of the furnace, so it treats the air on its way to every register whenever the fan runs. Ours is ActivePure, made by Aerus. It doesn't replace the filter and it doesn't clean the ducts.

SwiftPro is very responsive and timely. They have great customer service. I reached out to them after 6 pm when our AC unit stopped cooling the house and they had someone out the next morning. We have used both their plumbing and their HVAC services. More on that specifically below.

Jimbo was very helpful and informative. We initially had him look at something we were getting a second opinion about and he saved us from spending a lot of money that the first plumber told us we needed done. …

He showed us exactly what the issue was (which was not what the first plumber told us it was) and how a much simpler and cheaper solution resolved the issue. We had him look at something other plumbing things while he was here and he explained how certain things worked and why. He was also open to answering a lot of questions in a nice and helpful manner. I would highly recommend him and SwiftPro plumbing. We went through 3 plumbing companies before finding SwiftPro.

Eddy Hernandez did a great job when our AC unit stopped cooling the house. He also educated us on some basic HVAC and humidifier things that we can do ourselves to make things run smoother) and in one case with less effort on our part. They also replaced our air scrubber and helpful information related to that as well.

Everyone we dealt with on the phone or in person was very pleasant. Both the plumbing and HVAC had the parts on their trucks needed to address the issues we called them about.

Our furnace fan died before a 3-day holiday weekend, in a period of high humidity. We were not too concerned that it took about a week to notice the failure, get a diagnosis, order the part, and replace it. But what that combination triggered – exacerbated by an undiscovered open gap in a pipe intended to exhaust humidity to the outside -- was an explosion of mold in our basement apartment bathroom and furnace room. …

Another company had been contracted to deal with the mold in the bathroom ceiling and walls as well as that which was beginning to cover the surface of everything in the area. That company did not handle the air ducts, leaving us to research and find SwiftPro and Aaron.

Under such circumstances, it is not often you begin to quickly feel trust in what someone is telling you what is needed to fix the issue. It did not take long at all to experience that rarity with Aaron of SwiftPro. It was Aaron who noted the continued high humidity in our furnace room, leading eventually to the discovery of a gap in the pipe that was pumping humidity gathered by the furnace right back into the room.

This is a company whose expertise and knowledge is evident in the entire crew who came to address the issues with our air ducts. Already trusting Aaron, we found Luke and Jamie showed the same friendliness and skill already entrusted in Aaron.

They were thorough and unintrusive in their work. They cleaned and fogged our ducts, both metal and fiberglass, on all three levels of our house, using air scrubbers to filter out airborne particulates during the cleaning. They thoroughly cleaned the furnace (coils, blower, housing) and installed a permanent air scrubber in the furnace plenum to filter out any remaining and future mold spores. Their service includes coming back in a month to evaluate any bacterial growth in the ductwork and address any other concerns we may have.

Thorough.

These are servicers who exude comfortable professionalism in their expertise, making their presence during the entire process one of confidence. Highly recommend this company and especially Aaron and his crew.

20/10 recommend! We had Moises and Felix come install a dehumidifier & fresh air system to our home and they worked extremely hard to get the job done! They were incredibly kind, knowledgable and patient with our (MANY!) questions. The area for installing the new system was a very tight space and Moises worked very diligently to find the only system that would actually fit where we needed it to. …

They have team meetings and the team weighed in on the issue we were having, so you know you're getting a solid fix to any problems you're dealing with. We had at least 3 different kinds of contractors come in an weigh in on the issue we were having and no one could fully confirm or clearly verbalize what the actual issue was. Moises walked around the entire home, inside and out, looked at where the leak/dampers/vents were and is confident we've found the solution. We are so grateful for Moises, Felix and the SwiftPro team and highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

Additional: They are honest, reliable and if their prices are a bit higher it's only because you are getting quality work that they stand behind. Don't pay to have bad work fixed, go with SwiftPro to do it right the first time!

I highly recommend the team at SwiftPro for both HVAC and duct cleaning services. The technical team arrived on time, communicated the plan, kept me advised of the status, and executed their work in a highly professional manner. The team successfully resolved our HVAC issues and thoroughly cleaned our duct system. We had previously contracted Atlantic Duct Cleaning, and our experience with SwiftPro was remarkably better (timeliness, communication, professionalism, and quality of work). …

We had SwiftPro come out for a checkup on our furnace. They gave it a thorough check and thankfully it was in good shape. We also asked about replacing an existing inefficient humidifier on the furnace and they proposed a better solution. We know the owner and some of the employees of SwiftPro and they are all trustworthy. We highly recommend them!

I am very happy to have selected SwiftPro to install a heat pump in my home. The price for the Trane system was significantly below what the competitors were offering, and every aspect of the installation process went very smoothly. When I had some trouble with the control panel after the installers had left, the owner, Tyler, got the technician immediately on the phone to correct my mistake. …

The added bonus is that the air quality of my home has clearly improved by reducing dramatically the use of my natural-gas burning furnace. So, I’m happy to attest that SwiftPro really is as professional as Tyler claims in his initial sales presentation.
